Let's first talk about Abby! We took her to go see Dr Rich for her two month check ups and he told us, she weighs 10lbs and is 24inces long!! She is growing and he said she is healthy and beautiful! I also asked when was a good time to get her earrings done. He said we'll do them today for you! I was shocked to hear that, and in less then 5 minutes that day, Abby got 3 shots on her legs and beautiful earrings on her ears. She looked beautiful but she was super upset with all the pokes she got. Here are some pictures of our beautiful Mariposa.
On the same day that Abby turned 2 months, Daddy turned 32! So now Mommy and Daddy are 32 years young!
All last week the boys were getting sooo excited because their cousins Lilly, Lilah, and Penelope were going to visit!! They couldn't wait!!
But before our Burleson family came into town, Niko had an accident on the Mc Donald's playground :( :(
Grandpa takes the boys once a week and they have a Grandpa Morning! The boys look so much forward to that time and so does Mommy and Abby :) They do all kinds of things like; they go play at the park, they go see Grandma sometimes, they go to the library, they go to the store, and they go get lunch! They were at Mc Donald's this time eating and Niko decided to go to the third floor of the playground and play on the monkey bars. We don't exactly know how he fell, but he said he fell off the monkey bars. Poor guy came home crying and Daddy took him to the hospital to see if he broke his arm. The x-ray showed he had injured his wrist so they sent him home with a splint and told Mikey he broke his arm (distal radial fracture) and Niko had to see the Orthopedic Surgeon.
A day later we saw the Orthopedic Surgeon and told us Niko didn't break his arm! He was able to move his arm with Niko not saying it hurt. He only has to wear his splint for two weeks if not less! We are taking Niko today to see if maybe just maybe they'll take it off!!
That night we celebrated by having a Family Movie sleep over!! We bought popcorn, the Smurfs Movie and we all slept in the living room! Such fun times with just the 5 of us :)
Niko has become a pro at doing everything with his left hand though! Especially eating! Good job Niko! You are one tough boy and you were such a good sport about it all! We Love you!!
On Friday Night our Burleson Family came into town!!!! We were all so excited!! Grand Daddy Joel, Grandma Debbie, Nanny Kay, Uncle Jo-Jo and his Girlfriend Sydne, Uncle Clayton and Aunt Kristen, and cousins Penelope, Lilah and Lilly!!!!! They came Friday and left on Sunday so we had a short but packed fun weekend with them! We wish they lived closer and we wish we had so much more time with them! It's always a blast spending time with them!
