Our backyard is getting a total extreme makeover AND Nathaniel is 7 months old!!!

Alot has happened in a month! I realized that I haven't updated in a while.. Besides our kiddos getting sick one right after another and then Mikey and I getting sick we have been pretty busy! Our landscaping project started on March 5th, 2012 and is still in the process of being done. It's looking awesome! We went from a backyard that was just made of dirt and rocks to a backyard that still has dirt and rocks but is much much much more prettier. I'll let the pictures explain themselves. My Dad and Mikey also worked one Saturday and Sunday morning in March to setup the playground set we bought for the boys. Mikey just finished it this weekend and the boys were able to play on it for the first time! Here are the before and after pictures of our backyard enjoy!!!

Here is a video of the boys trying out their new playground set!

Hail in El Paso at the end of March!!

Our landscape project is almost done but we still have a ways to go. We want to extend our porch a little more, make a little sidewalk of some sort and extend our garden a little more. I'll have more pictures of that when it's all done. :)

Our Nathaniel turned 7 months yesterday!!!

Nathaniel started crawling right before he turned 7 months old! Today was the first day he went from his bedroom playing and crawled all the way to our living room and played there. He is discovering his home and all the neat toys that hangout all over our floors. He is now taking baths everyday because he is getting so dirty and eating everything in his path (like my shoes). He also is a huge fruit eater! He loves fruit. I have to mix his fruits with his veggies so he will eat veggies. He hasn't tried chicken or beef yet, but he will soon. He babbles alot! He says things like "da, da, da" and "ma, ma, ma" and "heeeeeeey" He lights up to see Niko and doesn't want to take his naps if he hears Niko playing. He only takes two naps a day, and that's on a good day. He rather be up playing than sleeping.  He is our little silly man, that makes us smile alot!

What a joy you are in our lives Nathaniel! My little Baboon!

Nathaniel is crawling some videos!

UH-OH Nathaniel! What did you do? :)

We had alot of family come and visit us this past week but that will be for another post, for another time. For now I'd like to share some cute short stories about our Niko. :)

Niko our little two year old is growing not only length wise but vocabulary wise! He is starting to put words together to make sentences and express feelings. He understands when somebody is sad or happy and he'll say it bodly. :) The other day my Dad came over for a short visit missing Niko because he was taking his nap and right as he was getting ready to leave, my Dad was out the door Niko saw him and he cried because he didn't get a chance to play with his "pampa". That whole day he would say "Pampa happy? Niko sad" It's so cute because every time Niko refers to himself in a sentence, he'll pat his chest with his hand and say "Niko". He's also is starting to have conversations with himself, but talking to people he knows. (Should I worry? lol!) He'll stand by the front door and say, "Hi Daddy, (even though Daddy is not there) I WUV YOU". He pretends that his cars or stuff animals need a diaper change, so he'll also get his super large pull-ups from his room and manage to put them on his tiny toy cars or stuffed animals. It's funny to see him! He refuses to use his potty, he just sits there and whines, but desires that Nathaniel would use the potty. I desire that Nathaniel would use the potty too. :) I do very much enjoy these days with my boys. We have our hard and our easy days, but I wouldn't trade them in for anything!

Niko, God has blessed you with such a sponge of a mind. You learn fast and you retain it. You already know your letters, and numbers, colors, and shapes! You are so close to reading books on your own by just remembering the pictures, You also know your way around El Paso by knowing whose house we are going to, just by looking at the streets! You are such a handsome boy with a heart that loves so many people! Your Daddy and Mommy are so proud of the boy you are! You are my baby, my Goo!
