VBS SPORTS CAMP!

This year was our first year doing VBS with another church. I've worked VBS at Calvary Chapel Sun City for 4 years; and when Mikey and I ventured off to plant our new church Calvary Chapel Redeeming Grace, we felt God calling us to minister together with Journey of Faith Community Church this year! We have been blessed to have met them because their church is in our sister school Sun Ridge Middle School! For VBS we met every morning at 8am at Sal Berroteran Park right by Lujan Chavez Elementary School. We started the early morning off with setting up all the tents every morning!

We then continued our morning with the kiddos singing worship songs! Waking them up singing songs to our Lord and Savior! Such a sweet time to see the children worshiping Jesus!

After worship time it was sports time!! The kiddos could choose what sport they wanted to play that day! Our mission was to teach them good skills of that sport and help them understand teamwork while playing! It was so fun to work with the preschool kids!

We then got the kiddos together for Bible study and we had the opportunity to teach them all week about Finding our place in God's story! Such fun times with those kiddos! We had snow cones and a jumping balloon! We made some good memories this week!

Friday night we made a cookout for all the families who came to VBS and we also invited the community to come out and join us for a party! The kiddos sang and danced! We met some really nice families!

We look forward to minister alongside with Journey of Faith Community Church again soon!

Poop in Potty!!

This week Nathaniel also did poop in the big potty for the first time! He is still potty training but is doing such a good job trying!! Good job Nathaniel we are so proud of you!!

Now that VBS is over the week has been a little slower and we have been able to reflect and rest! The kiddos are also enjoying some Summer Pool time!

Silly boys!!!
