Much happens in just two weeks...

Well August has been a month of alot of happenings! Mikey's Grandfather Jerry "Papa" passed away on Friday, August 10th about 5am. It was hard seeing him in pain and so weak. He was always a very positive and strong man. Niko has been asking about him alot, especially when we go to church. He calls every older man at church "Papa" or he'll say "Grandpa Jerry"? Grandpa Jerry is now in heaven though! We are sad and miss him but we are so happy that he is now with our loving Savior  Jesus Christ, walking the golden streets of Heaven or playing golf with Jesus! We had a good amount of family come down from different parts of the United States, and it was nice being able to meet many of them and get to know many of them better. We took the kiddos and their cousins (Deano and Reese with Auntie Kristi and Uncle Andrew) to the zoo on that Tuesday. It was good to get outside and spend some time enjoying the kiddos and the El Paso animals at the zoo!
